Tristen Michael Peterson, 24, passed away, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a life that will be remembered for its warmth, kindness, and love of the outdoors.

Tristen was the beloved son of Terry Peterson and Darnell Larson. He was the devoted fiancé of Maicey Johnson, with whom he shared love, laughter, and dreams for the future. He is also survived by siblings Randi Larson and Zach Miller.

He will be deeply missed by his aunts and uncle, Tamie Drake, Melissa Last, and Jeff Peterson, along with many extended family members and friends who were fortunate to know him.

Tristen was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Terry and Carnita Peterson, whom he adored; and his great-grandparents, Dorman and Lillian Widner, and Arthur and Marion Peterson.

Tristen graduated from Janesville, Wisconsin, in 2020. He had a true passion for the outdoors and found peace and happiness in fishing, hunting, and nature. Whether it was duck, deer, or turkey hunting, or searching for morel mushrooms, he felt most at home outside, surrounded by the beauty of the world he loved so much.

He worked at Stoughton Trailers prior to joining Iron Workers Local 383, where he was proud to continue building his future through hard work and dedication.

Tristen will be remembered for his kind heart and his genuine smile that could light up a room. His adventurous spirit, love for family, and the joy he brought to those around him will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
