Richard W. Bentley

JANESVILLE - Richard Bentley, 89, of Janesville, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at UW Hospital, Madison. Richard "Dick" was born to Lee and Dorothy (Doose) Bentley in Rock Island, Ill., on October 20, 1927. He was united in marriage to Marcelene Taylor on June 20, 1948, in Franklin, Kentucky. Dick attended Davenport Central High School in Davenport, Iowa. He lived in Davenport, Iowa, Sterling, Illinois, Mt Morris, Illinois, and Rockford, Illinois before moving to Janesville to be closer to his grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Pamela E. Bentley of Columbus, Ohio, Beth Bentley Webb of Janesville, and David J. Bentley of Roscoe, Illinois. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Kellen Webb, Emily Webb Arthur, and Bert Webb.
