Patricia M. Moloney

Patricia Margaret Moloney, known fondly as Pat (or mom, ma Moloney or Grandma) left this world to enter her eternal rest while in her Janesville home on January 30, 2026, surrounded by love after recently turning 73 years old.

Pat was beloved by all who met her and she enriched so many lives throughout her years beyond her devoted family and friends to include numerous foster children she selflessly nurtured and dearly loved. Pat had a way of making you feel seen, heard and cared for which drew people near her.

Pat adored cooking and baking as one way to show her love. The months leading up to the holidays would be spent making treats including her famous decorated cut out cookies, cornflake treats and fudges. Pat also appreciated walking in her yard bare footed hunting dandelions, card and board games (especially Farkle, Cribbage & Rummikub), lilacs, cooking shows, licorice, her Filter Queen vacuum cleaner, the smell of vanilla, her puppy Abby and warm strong hugs.

Pat brought a light so great to the world that even though she has gone, her impact remains with those she loves. Please bring a fond memory and join us for a Celebration of Pat's Life on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2p at Resonate Church, 2707 Bond Place, Janesville.

Pat is survived by her husband Robert E Moloney Jr, daughter Shannon Moloney (grandson Diego Gonzalez-Moloney & great-niece Ashley Rudnitzki), son Shawn White, daughter Tabitha (Michael Oost) and her adored siblings Joan (Dennis) Pigeon, William (JoAnne) Murray, Timothy Murray, Thomas Murray, and Penny (Ron) Larson. Pat is preceded in death by her parents Laverne and Jane Murray and sister Judy Rudnitzki.
