Norma Chacón

Norma Chacón, age 90 of Sun Prairie, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Chamomile Assisted Living Center in Madison. She was born in Valle de Lepaguare, Olancho, Honduras on February 12, 1936, the daughter of Miguel and Dolores (Martinez) Zelaya. She married Luis Ricardo Chacón in New York, New York in February of 1968.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Claudia (Kevin) White; grandsons, Harrison and Collin White; sisters, Maria Schild and Brunilda Zelaya; and brothers, Miguel and Rolando Zelaya. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Hector, Alfredo, Salvador and Arturo; and sister, Mercedes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at SACRED HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 221 Columbus St., Sun Prairie. Another service will be held in Williston, Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
