Michael C. Hutchins

MADISON - Michael C. Hutchins, age 75, of Madison, died on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Mike was born on November 1, 1946, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of Charles and Joyce (Goff) Hutchins. He lived in Milwaukee and worked at Evinrude OMC for over twenty years. He moved to Madison in 1999 to be closer to his children and worked at Kayser Ford delivering auto parts until his retirement. He loved to go to movies, talk with everyone he met and watch college football and basketball games, especially the UW Badgers. He is survived by his two children, Lisa Waldsmith of Madison and Erik (Stephanie) Hutchins of Fitchburg; two grandsons, Kieran and Leif; his sisters, Marcia Robinson, Linda Hutchins, Jill (Dennis) Levy, and Jean (Mark) Tackes; and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gerald Hutchins; and brother-in-law, Ralph Robinson. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
