Mary A. Walsvick

Mary Alayne Walsvick, age 59 of DeForest, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at University of Wisconsin Hospital, as a result of a serious car accident. She was born on November 8, 1964, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Boyd Walsvick and Edith Elaine Walsvick-Black.

Mary is survived by her longtime companion, Dave Stowell of Stoughton; son, Jeromy Aiken (Krystal Schmidtke) of Lodi; grandchild, Riley Aiken; her dog, Lito; brothers, Gary (Cathy Koltes) Walsvick of Madison, Steven Walsvick of Sauk City, and Tim (Shelley Twing) Walsvick of Morrisonville; sisters, Sandra Walsvick of Texas, and Kathy Kassulke of Madison; nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Michael Bergsma and William Walsvick.

A very special thank you to Amy Leatherberry who was the first to assist Mary at the scene of the accident.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
