Luanne Marie Connor

Luanne Marie Connor, 84, passed away on September 8, 2026. Born on May 10, 1942, Luanne arrived prematurely and, even from her earliest days, showed the strength and determination that would define her life. That same strong will carried her through decades — she was preceded in death by three of her brothers, David, Ronald, and Garry Johnson, and met every challenge life brought her with quiet resilience.

Luanne spent her career as a legal secretary before retiring. She brought the same steady dedication to her family that she brought to her work, and she was, above all, devoted to those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Pierce, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Luanne was a proud grandmother to three grandsons: Brandon Pierce and his wife Emily Pierce of Arvada, Colorado; Jeremy Pierce and his wife Lindsay Pierce, also of Arvada; and Chad Hooper of Colorado Springs, along with his fiancée, Ariel Antoon. She was equally proud to be a great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren: Rowan Hooper, son of Chad and Ariel, age seven months, and Ada Pierce, daughter of Jeremy and Lindsey, who is about a year and a half old and shares a birthday with her grandmother, Lori.

She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Marie Johnson and Karen Johnson, and their families. Marie's son, Jeffrey Johnson, and Karen's children, Jamie Johnson and Michael Johnson, along with Jamie's daughter, Olivia Johnson, will also carry on her memory.

Luanne loved her family deeply, and that love was the center of her life. She also had a passion for travel and for creating beautiful things — she was a talented acrylic painter whose artwork fills the homes of those she loved, and she enjoyed stained glass and jewelry making as cherished hobbies. Luanne also treasured her Friday nights with her close circle of friends, a group she affectionately called her "Golden Girls," who gathered together for cocktails and companionship.

Luanne will be remembered for her strength, her creativity, and the deep love she poured into her family. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience and beauty that will continue through the family she cherished.
