Lawrence "Rich" Normington

MADISON - Lawrence "Rich" Normington, age 67, passed away on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 21, 1946. He is survived by his children, Sheila Normington Bachmann and Todd Normington; grandchildren, Ashley Bachmann, Shaun Bachmann and Courtney Normington; siblings, Barbara Shunk, Priscilla (Edward) Brown, and Steve (Christine) Normington; and sister-in-law, Rita Normington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence Normington and Helen (Ninedorf); brother, James Normington; brother-in-law, Robert Shunk; and great-niece, Jesse Jackson. A memorial service will be held at OLBRICH BOTANICAL GARDENS, 3330 Atwood Ave., Madison, on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. Rich was a most loving and devoted father, brother and friend. May his bright light continue to shine.
