Joann T. Spear

JoAnn T. Spear, 92, of Janesville, Wisconsin, passed peacefully at her home on February 10, 2024. JoAnn was on in Pekin Illinois on April 20, 1931 to Joseph and Vera O’Neal.

JoAnn worked at the Pretzel Factory, Universal Foods and Carlyle Nursing Home, all in the Beloit area. She started a cleaning business in 1990, retiring in 2022 at the age of 91.

She is survived by her daughters: Denise Becker, Dawn (Terry) Hoffman and Lynn Harrington; and all of her furry-babies. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Aaron Behrendt, Al (Kara) Daskam, Nick Borden, Austyn Hoffman, Mike (Val) Peckham, Paula (Matt) Peckham, Michelle Christiansen and Lisa Christiansen; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dick Spear (1989); her son, Thomas Peckham; her daughter, Sue Wright; and grandsons: Steven Becker and Jason Peckham.

A Celebration of Life for JoAnn and Sue will be held at a later date.
