Jerome A. Burdick

JANESVILLE - Jerome A. Burdick passed away at Mercy Hospital on Oct. 15, 2013. He was born to Jerome Burdick, Sr. and Evelyn Bruce Burdick on Sept. 13, 1937. He attended Janesville Schools. He married Lois Bratzke of Evansville on Nov. 17, 1956. Together, they managed Jefferson Oaks Apartments in Jefferson, until Jerome opened and operated Burdick Real Estate Mgmt. Co., in 1995. Jerome leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Lois; a son, Steven (friend Tracy Thomas) of Hartford; a daughter, Linda (Herb) Coy of Fort Atkinson; three grandchildren: Michael (Kasey) Burdick of Fort Atkinson, Angela Burdick of California, and Melissa Coy of Jefferson; and nine great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a half-sister, Diane (Edward) Hodges of Arizona; and half-brother, Stanley Benash. Jerome was predeceased by his parents. Jerry was an avid Brewer and Packer fan. His greatest interest was his love for music. Jerry will be remembered by many for his kindness and generosity. A visitation and celebration of life will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville, on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family graveside services will be held.
