Beatrice Costello

Beatrice Costello, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, to be with the lord Jesus, her savior. Beatrice developed deep emotional and mental issues and hardships around age 12. She struggled to keep a positive spirit and did her best throughout the years. During her last seven years, she lived at Home Again-Memory Care in Rio, Wisconsin. She resided and was lovingly taken care of by an unbelievable staff: Alexander and Joshua (owners), and the following caretakers: Janet RN, Rebeccah, Jackie, Megan, Heather, Daffney, Kathy, Jessie, Stacey, and many others. A special note of love, gratefulness and thanks to Jodie, hospice nurse of Generations Hospice, who spent so many hours with her and even to the end.

Beatrice was energetic and was known for her infectious smile, had a good appetite and looked forward to her meals and bingo games, she looked forward to her many outings and family visits, especially on Christmas and birthdays with gifts and presents. She loved her potato chips, coke, hard candy, and homemade chili.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Albert Costello. She is survived by her brother, Charles Costello; sisters, Nancy Costello and Romona (Ronald) Zuba; and many nieces and nephews.

A family memorial service to celebrate Beatrice’s life will take place on July 21, 2026, at 1 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Wood National Cemetery, along with her mother and father, who was a WWII veteran. Complete information as to directions can be obtained by contacting Charles J.
