MADISON - Phyllis Ann Hannon, age 75 of Madison, passed away at her home on Monday, August 23, 2010, surrounded by her family. Phyllis and Jerome “Jerry” Hannon were united in marriage on August 28, 1958. Phyllis worked at numerous service-oriented jobs throughout her career, and she enjoyed meeting and working with people. She greatly enjoyed her volunteer work at the Bethel Lutheran Church Resale Store. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Madison, and looked forward to spending time with her friends in the Ruth Circle. Phyllis also had a great passion for music, the arts, and collecting teddy bears. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; three children, Paul (Gloria) Hannon, Annette (Craig) Wormuth and Heidi (David) Warczytowa; grandchildren, Amanda (Gus) Peterson, Ross (Brianna) Hannon, Ryan (fiancee Amber) Boldt, Tamra (Davide) Savini, Andrew Warczytowa and Jared Warczytowa; five great grandchildren; and her brother, Michael Nack. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Hugo Nack, her mother, Myrtle (Belitz) Nack and her brother, Thomas Nack. A private service for the immediate family will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in memory of Phyllis. The family wishes to express their gratitude to The Willows Rehabilitation Center in Sun Prairie, and HospiceCare, Inc. in Madison for the care and support that they provided to Phyllis and her family throughout her illness.
