Michael M. Ortego

COTTAGE GROVE - Michael M. Ortego, recently of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin and formerly of Walker, Louisiana, went to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 26, 2015. He was an electrician by trade and fondly known by his buddies as "KW" for kilowatt! He is survived by his two sons, Micky Ortego and Paul (Shelly) Ortego; and two daughters, Theresa (Joe) Ortego Stone and Kaia Ortego. He is also survived by four brothers,: Jerry (Kathy) Prevatt, John (Mary) Ortego, Richard Ortego, and Phillip (Susan) Ortego; and a sister, Norma Jeannie (Mark) Ortego Carruth. He has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary McElwee Ortego and father, Warren B. Ortego. Private services will be held.
