Gerald D. Needham

MADISON – Gerald D. Needham, age 84 of Madison, passed away on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 at his home. He was born in Plain, Wis., on May 5, 1936, the son of Lawrence and Florence (Finer) Needham. Gerald studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a realtor for Century 21 for many years. He volunteered driving the pontoon boat for Madison Rec. Gerald loved music, singing, and playing his instruments. He like to ski, hunt deer, and travel the world. Showing his artistic side, Gerald painted and colored the last three years. He loved apples, often eating them down to the seeds. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Gerald is survived by his brother, Damian (Oscar) Needham; sisters-in-law Eileen and Kaye Needham; 31 nieces and nephews; and long-time friend, Janet George. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Arlene; and brothers, Corneal, Marvin, and Virgil. Private graveside services will be held at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Plain, Wis.
