Catherine A. Wetzel

MADISON – Catherine A. Wetzel, age 47 of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009. She was born Dec. 13, 1961 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Joseph and Lois Wetzel. A job with Tickets.com brought her to the Madison area 13 years ago. She was recently working for the State of Wisconsin, Dept. of Administration as a computer programmer. Cathy is survived by her daughter, Leslie Rose Cammer; life partner, Lester Cammer; three brothers, Joseph (Catherine) Wetzel, Leo (Beth) Wetzel, and William Wetz; a sister, Frances (Thomas) Wetzel; and many nieces. A memorial service will be held at LAKE EDGE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 4200 Buckeye Road, Madison, on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. A celebration of Cathy’s life will immediately follow the services.
