Barbara Kay Moody

JANESVILLE - Barbara Kay Moody, age 76 of Janesville WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Agrace Hospice and Palliative Care Center with her family by her side. She was born on April 2, 1941 in Sauk City, the daughter of Ken and Virginia (Scott) Hall. She married Marlen Moody on April 14th, 1991 in Sauk City. Barb had been the clerk for the town of Blooming Grove. But it was volunteering that was her vocation. She gave of her time and talents for many causes throughout the community, including; ECHO, Meals on Wheels, Asbury United Methodist Church and the Janesville Public Library. Barb loved antiques and antiquing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Barbara is survived by her husband, Marlen, and her son Todd (Kris) Grauvogl; her stepson Marvin (Lisa) Moody and stepdaughter Marlene (Jim) Lembcke; as well as 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Harlan (Geri) Hall and Scott Hall; and her sister, Kathy (Darrel) Stumpf. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Kraig and Kevin Grauvogl; as well as her first husband, Darel Grauvogl. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Asbury United Methodist Church, in Janesville, WI, with Pastor Will Jewson presiding. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, from 10 am until the time of service, at the church. A very special thank you to the nurses & staff at Agrace Hospice.
